Death as a Character — Death is often personified as a character. — Thre are variations on that theme. Sometimes it's treated as a character in other ways—such as In the Revivalist Trilogy, it's treated as s business commodity. In Black Wings series, there is an angel like being who is an Agent of Death.

Sometimes Death is personified as a character different from what is traditionally known. Such as the Archangel of Death in the Matthew Swift series. Or, the Patron Saint of Death, Santa Muerte, a Death goddess in Eric Carter series. In Calliope Reaper-Jones, Death is a corporation named "Death, Inc." In three series, Death is in the form of Death Magic: World of the Lupi series, Nikki Glass series and Broken Magic series.
